What to Do in Tolo and Where to Visit

Visitors of Tolo have the opportunity to admire the beauty of the landscape of the Argolida and picturesque cities. Important archaeological sites are situated close by such as Mycenae, the Mycenaen citadels of Ancient Tiryns and Midea [polychryses] Mycenaes, the [mykinaikes] citadels of [Tirynthas] and [Mideas] the Holy Temple of Ira as well as other appreciable historical monuments of the region. The important cities of Nafplion with its Venetian castles of the Palamidi and Bourtzi is found just 10 kms away from Tolo and one of the most ancient cities of Europe Argos, jusy 20 kms away. A little further afield are the cosmopolitan towns of Porto Heli and Ermioni with its canal reminding us of Venice.

Finally the visitor to Tolo will fall in love with the sandy beach which runs the length of the village. The daily cruise ships of Hermes and Mantalena offer trips to the islands of Hydra & Spetses.
